Community Impact

By partnering students with local non-profits, SJI Service Scholars have been able to make a major impact on our community by providing students access to volunteer opportunities that help them foster new skills, build college references, and appreciate the value of giving back to their community. In turn, non-profits get the extra support they need through student volunteers!

Let’s Get Started

We recently adopted a 3rd party service provider app called MobileServe. The app allows non-profits to easily push out volunteer opportunities to students (no more paper logs), track volunteer tasks, and verify student hours. SJI Service Scholarships pays the annual MobileServe app fee, but nonprofits need to create a free account to be linked as a Community Partner and discoverable to SJI students. It’s about a 15 min set up time.

Signup with a FREE MobileServe Account Today!

To get started, you will need: PC or iPad, website URL, EIN, primary location, org mission, and cause area information. See MobileServe video here: Community Partners!
