Welcome to the San Juan Island Service Scholarship program!
This program is designed for 8th through 12th grade students with a variety of volunteer opportunities based on student interest and community need. To qualify for the scholarship, you need to volunteer 80 hours with four different non-profit organizations, one of which is 3 hours with SJI Service Scholarship.

How It Works:
- Read Student Rules/Policy.
- Student Registration, click here.
- Claim Your Mobile Serve Account-3-5 days after registration you’ll receive an email from MobileServe inviting you to join.
- Create Login Name/Password. *DO NOT use your school email address.
- Download the MobileServe app from your preferred app store after you have received your MobileServe registration email.
- Start volunteering!You’re ready to get out there and volunteer!
Seniors – 3 Important Dates:
- If you are a graduating senior, you must register with SJI Service Scholarship on MobileServe by December 1.
- All volunteer hours must be 100% verified on MobileServe by first Friday of April of your graduating year.
- Your completed scholarship application packet must be signed and submitted by the first Friday of May of your graduating year. Can be dropped off at Friday Harbor High School or mailed to PO Box 3366. See SJISS website or counselor for application.
